Is it normal that I hate my own voice?

    My voice went higher, then a lot lower when it changed. Kinda pissed me off. And my mysterious English accent thickened. It becomes extremely noticeable when I'm pissed, and I get teased for it. I'm an American and I have never been around a Brit.
