But your problem is especially difficult because I've been in your situation and I couldn't find my way out of it either. Everything I was going to advise you to do, I realise I'd already tried and it didn't work. The only thing I can actually offer you is that I completely understand, and that I'm sorry.
Whatever you do, though, stick with your boyfriend. He sounds like something really important in your life. We need something like that even at the best of times. We certainly need it at the worst.
