whatever sex you are and no matter the length or your relationship I think these feelings are normal. IMO These emotions are an indication of insecurity. I have had this as well, and when I think back on it now I realize that this jealousy was caused by myself not feeling worthy or good enough to be with my partner at the time. If you would simply try to imprint in your mind that you are the person that is simply right for your girlfriend and that there is no way that someone else could ever replace you, you would be far better off. It is a matter of self-confidence and really has nothing to do with the relationship itself
