I hate my family right but I still say I love them what's the point of that. they just make me soooo unhappy angry, it's like I'm a robot compared to other people and my family act as if it's always my fault.
i think it's normal to do that just to keep the peace. you know how you feel, and you know you're lying when you say you love them. it's just not worth the drama to be honest. i've always said some people don't DESERVE my honesty. my family especially. i will lie convincingly to keep the peace
Angst isn't always the case. But it's possible.
People do this sort of thing all the time. When you get on the phone you say, "How are you?" when you don't really care. It's just an expected formality in society like the soldier's "sir" at the end of each sentence. In short you're normal.
