I have met redneck type folk before. I generally really enjoy these people. They love their country, they generally seem more accepting, They love family and do not generally act like the rich spoiled snobs from the rich cities. I hate rich snobs and I meet those a lot. I hate when people who think they are rich and big putting it in your face saying how much more they have. So while some of them have odd customs I very much enjoy rednecks. I do not meet these people often but the few times I did it was not that bad.
Honestly, I miss the South, especially Louisiana. I went to college down there and I loved it! Here some people are so phoney and plastic that I'm surprised they don't melt in the desert sun.
Is it normal that I hate living in the South?
