As far as the food thing goes, the food in Japan is less processed overall, but everything is rediculously expensive over there, and the society is very demanding of you as a whole, they are starting to crack down on it, but in some jobs, new people are expected to work over 120 hours a week, and the overtime is without pay!
Believe it or not, the United States is about the cheapest developed nation to live in! Unfortunately, that means crap processed food, but the crap food seems to be more commonplace everywhere nowadays, even Europe, and Europe, especially the UK and Germany, can be rather expensive to live there, even when you factor higher wages.
For example, it costs over $5,000 (in USD) to get a car registered in Germany.
IIN that I hate living in America?
