That's not entirely true. Granted, collectivism is the overarching norm there, but individualism does exist even in China. It's a v-a-s-t country!!!!! You ought to see what goes on in Hong Kong and Shanghai. If you're curious, see how different life inside the borders of China appears if you're far West in Xinxiang. It's a fascinating landscape.
And...might I add that Jackie Chan hails from Hong Kong.
