iin that I hate god?

You're gonna have to get more specific than that. What happened to you?
Since you hate god, I assume you still believe in him. So do I, but there are a thousand different pictures of what god is like - And I think I'd hate quite a few of them. Now I'm gonna share some of my thoughts about god and if you're not in the mood for that just don't read it.

You said he took everything from you. So I guess your god is a very controlling one. Whatever you have is given by him and whatever you lose he took, right?
I do think it's healthy to be thankful for everything you have and don't feel entitled to it. However, if you believe god is controlling everything, I can see why you'd hate him. All the terrible things that happen to good people every day. You can only love this god as long as nothing bad happens to you and you don't think about the others too much.

But if you're a christian this picture of god doesen't fit anyway, does it? "God is love.", "All people are equal in front of god.", "Everything good comes from god."
That's why my picture is very different (and I think the new testament supports it): Basically, shit happens. It happens to you, it happens to me, it happened to all the apostles, all the prophets and to Jesus himself - And he was supposed to be without sin. But Jesus said "My kingdom is not of this world" and as the lord of this world he named satan/the devil/evil, not god. This world is imperfect just as we are imperfect and in this world we suffer.
"all things work together for good to those who love God" - That doesen't mean nothing bad will happen to you, but god can take horrible things and make something good and meaningful out of them - even his own crucifixion. We can use suffering as a chance to show love and compassion and we can use pain to grow. The christian god is a god of love in misery, the dim light in a sea of darkness. This is why I love him and it's why I still have my faith. I hope maybe this helps you a little.
