You sound like you have good taste. I loved hereditary many people I spoke to didn’t, but I think they didn’t understand what it tried (and succeeded) at doing, they went into it expecting a straight up generic horror, which it isn’t.
I’ll check out beast, I haven’t seen that one, looks interesting.

Hereditary was fantastic. Beast is amazing!! Very dark. My fave last year.
I also loved annihilation.
