As a gay man, I can say with confidence that it's normal to hate people who hate gays. I myself however, do not hate people despite them having hate for me. I'd be lying though if I said I would welcome those kind of people with open arms. At the most, I would have resentment towards those people.
I try very hard to steer clear of hateful people. They just give off negative energy, and life is already so hard and so unfair as it is. None of us need any extra added stress.
