Is it normal that i hate children?

You were once like that. We all were like that once. We were all once a baby. Imagine how our parents felt when you were a small, defenseless, vulnerable, young child.

Well, you were pretty harsh, dude.. but sometimes kids aren't really my cup of tea. I don't really like playing with kids and I find them to be rather annoying. Babies are adorable and really smart and well behaved kids are too, but I don't care for kids who are rowdy, messy, and smelly. I find it gross when I see a kid picking their nose and who smells and is dressed in dirty clothes. But that's their parents fault. Plus, as someone else said, kids are really germy, which is why I am reluctant to have any in the future..

Oh god yes, I hate the things. I've had to hold a baby once and it was just about the single most awful thing i've done. UGH.

I`m with you there! I didn`t like kids even when I was one. In addition to everything youv`e mentioned,children are walking germ factories, they spread illnesses like flu, colds & norovirus, & people who have kids always seem to be looking after their sick offspring, then catching these bugs off them. I`m so glad that i chose not to have any!

As the mother of 5-year-old twin boys, I think that perhaps you are making blanket statements, as it were, and labelling all or most children as unspeakable piles of crap.

I feel almost insulted on behalf of my sons!

At age 5, they know as much as is possible about politics (we're quite a political family) for their life experience. One of the boys has his heart set on being a lawyer when he grows up, and he asks plenty of questions and loves going to watch court trials with my hubby's older brother (a lawyer). Already he is a wizard at debating.
The other hopes to grow up and become a doctor, and he also loves researching about the human body.

As for believing in Father Christmas, I really do think that it's quite unfair for you to blame kids for their faith. It is the parents, and general adult society who brainwash young'uns. How are they supposed to know better?
Personally, my husband and I made a conscious decision to tell the truth about St. Nick, so as not to teach the twins to lie. Maybe if we lie, thet'll pick up on it, and end up deceiving - just as we would be doing.

I don't see how chidren are smelly, either. At such a young age I think that they are just learning about life, about being on this planet and looking, and exploring, and seeing.
Perhaps you might cut them some slack?

It is only natural that kids aren't as intelligent or learned - but they certainly aren't dumb. To stress the point that I made above, they are just new people, fresh beings on the planet.

Of course kids can be a right pain in the you-know-where, too! I do agree that they are little tormentors at times - wow, there's moments when I could do without one twin screaming for chocolate and the other for cheese; but we were all children once.

Kids are gross and very ugly. So for me, yes it is.

When you have kids of your own someday you'll forget all about this.
