Is it normal that I hate being a female?

  • I don't like that I can't walk anywhere alone at night or in downtown areas, and that hobos and bigger people like to approach me because I am small and easy to physically dominate by someone that is stronger than me (I live in California where it is illegal to carry a concealed weapon). And if, for someone reason, I HAVE to be in that area alone, and I get raped or assaulted, it's like "well derp, you shouldn't have been in that area alone" or "derp, that's what you get for wearing those slutty jeans, that slutty sweater and slutter tennis shoes".

And the slutty thing. I've been with about 10 men before my husband, always protected sex, and I meet men that have been with 20+ girls that consider me a slut. And I'm considered stupid by other women for marrying so young, but when men do it, oh it's sweet how much he loves her.

But other than that, I wouldn't want to be a man. I'm a cute little girl and I play the cute little bookworm part well. People don't get confrontational with me or any of that shit, and my lack of social skills doesn't matter cuz I'm so adorable haha.

    • Well, not to intrude, but males actually think it's stupid when men get married young, it's women that think men are being loving when they do that. Just saying. Not to mention, people say it'smuch more likely for a man to be attacked at night than a woman to be attacked, so we have to worry about that, too. The only difference is that we have more strength, which might be why women being attacked is seen as worse, but physical strength doesn't do anything for you if someone has a gun or knife pointed at you, does it?

For example, I have been attacked once by someone at night, for no reason, then again, but I was able to overpower them. I have been confronted by assholes in the whole asshole way a lot of times, too, and the only time I have seen a man hit a woman is when she hits him first.

      • Didn't say men never get attacked at night. I'm just saying, I've walked alone at night and damn near always get followers, cat-callers, etc. So I have taken to dressing in a sweater, sweat pants, and hiding my hear and I still have problems v.v

I hope you're not trying to incite a debate about how I am dumb for saying that only women get attacked when I didn't. I just said, it's very scary for women to do so. Never said it wasn't scary for men. I'm not whining about domestic violence either. I don't go around hitting men.

        • Yes, but males are still just as likely to be attacked.
And no, I wasn't trying to start a debate, just mentioning that men have the same problem, if you already knew that, my mistake.

          • Yeah, I knew that. Just saying though, walking around at night is a bitch for women. It's a bitch for anyone. But it's also a bitch for women.

            • How are men equally likely to get attacked? Women are seen as easier to physically over come and are raped... Most attackers are probably going to go after a girl.

              • Men are confrontational and competitive. We mainly are the fighters in society, it's just nature. I'm not saying that women don't fight as well but their competitiveness is handled usually with verbal abuse than physical. Doesn't really matter what gender you are, people will attack you simply because you might have something of value, like money. There are plenty of men out there who plenty of women can overpower and vice verse. Just because you're built differently doesn't exclude the desperation of some people to feed themselves with your money.

    • I agree with you. I hate walking around by myself. And that is so true. The man is in the wrong and rapes a woman but of course it's her fault for being alone and coming off as "slutty". Even in middle school I was called a slut because of rumors. But of course when the hot jock on the football team gets some ass, then all of a sudden "everyone else is doing it" and it's sooo cool that the guys can get all the ass they want. But yeah, I agree with you. I love being cute, haha. :)
