I have adult children now. It was rough when they were little. BUT, they were well behaved out in public. I made sure of it.
Once though a couple years back in a restaurant. There was a screaming kid a few tables away from me. Everyone was annoyed. Parents were doing nothing to quiet this kid. After about 10 minutes of this I couldnt take it anymore. I screamed "Quiet!!!!". People ducked. Needless to say, those parents finally took their little darling outside. No one said anything to me. I felt like wonderwoman!!
It's all how they are raised. But, I do see your point.
