I am a pretty decent artist but I hate taking art classes because they tend to force me into some sort of "box" where I have to draw a specific something in a specific way and it feels like a prison for my creative side. I want to be free to create what I want and when I want to create it. I also feel as if the art classes I have taken part in have somehow distorted my own artistic vision.
It is not normal to HATE art itself. Art is beautiful, emotional and cultural. How could you hate all of those things?
