i was thinking salvia or DMT as well, or just a paranoid reaction to the really good herb on top of alcohol. panic attacks while intoxicated can convince one of all sorts of things. some JWH mixtures are pretty wild too, could have been something like that.

What did it taste like?
If you've smoked your share of weed and aren't a lightweight I assume you've done your share of mixing the two..
It could have been salvia or DMT or something, that's my first guess based on what you told me about your reaction.
If it wasn't, and if you're experienced with drinking and smoking, anxiety? That would be my next guess.
