I don't know if it is life-threatening or not, but it seems so at the time. Have had the exact reaction.
I've learned it's more enjoyable for me to abstain, yet enjoy the crowd. People who tolerate it are hilarious! I was always the one the ruined it for everyone, especially after a night of drinking....made the effects worse.
Just stay away from it. I'm in recovery for drugs....3 years. So, I know where you're at.
