I for one am going to say that you definitely have a right to be upset. I am like that too, minus the drinking, but they are with you because you are someone special. They have a choice, if they don't care they can leave when they want, but if he loves you and cares about you, therefore he should make the attempts to show you, but acting like he doesn't give a damn isn't helping and ignoring you, just doesn't seem right to me, and would greatly upset me too.
