I personally believe that you've got a case of social anxiety disorder.
This disorder will generally make you feel severe anxiety once you think you are going to be or are being observed by others. Whether or not that's actually true isn't relevant. It's all about what you think.
There are several ways of greatly reducing your day-to-day anxiety but as far as I know it's impossible to completely diminish it.
The condition of which I speak is, surprisingly, very common. The reason you don't hear about it a lot is because those who suffer from it are put in a scenario of catch 22. To be able to get better you first need to meet new people but to meet new people on a regular basis you first need to get better. Therefore I recommend that even though you might find it hard to get in contact with a psychiatrist, you really should put all your heart into trying.
Social anxiety disorder, also sometimes humourously called S.A.D, is often misstaken for regular shyness. Although it is a type of shyness, it's nowhere near as severe and disabling as what people generally consider shyness.
Is it normal that I get such bad anxiety that I can't write?
