  • Ask yourself what you're scared of. What do you think is going to happen? What do you think people will say or think about you? Identify what you're scared of and then imagine that actually happening. Then think about how you would feel about it, then decide how you would deal with it. If you're mentally prepared for the worst, it can help you handle the 'non-worst' easier. In reality, most of your interactions with others will be pleasant or at least neutral, they won't be unpleasant, though. And most people want to be nice to others. And if they're not, it's often down to their own insecurities. It's a starting point! : )
