This site has taught me that the US and I think New Zealand? are the only places that advertise pharmaceuticals to consumers.
It's pretty funny to listen to all the side effects though. Ohhh, you have migranes? Well take this and let me know if you experience worse migraines, irregular heartbeats, dry mouth, shortness of breath, anal discharge, tremors, yellowing of the skin and/or eyes, a rash persisting for more that ten days, iritability, restlessness, nausea, back ache, weight gain, excessive sweating, impaired judgement, blurred vision, stroke, heart attack or death. There's more but the commercial is only 30 seconds so please be sure to request (maybe have an unmedicated person do it for you) our full library of books dedicated to side effects.
Well, yeah we do get the occasional cough syrup advert and aspirin ad on television in New Zealand not too sure if this is what you consider them pharmaceuticals ads.
One thing we do get here a lot. Ministry of Health advertisements - Telling us to stay healthy, exercise and what nots. I'm a little surprised they haven't reminded us to wipe our butts.
It's maddening. Even aside from those commercials, it's like almost a third of our tv is commercials. I forget what I'm watching most of the time because of the stinking ads!!! Blahhh!!! Frikkin 'Mercans! Please don't hold it against us :(
Now I want to hear the possibly nutritious jingle. Maybe it's just for them southerners though.
IIN that I get so annoyed at pharmaceutical commercials?

Oh. No. I was wrong then. We have tons of prescription medication commercials. It's ridiculous.
This was so weird to me. We have nothing like this. It was non stop, too.
Though the best ad I saw still goes to some foodstuff or whatever that had a stupid little jingle with the line "it's possibly nutritious".
...possibly? :/ and you think this is a selling point?? D:

I think it was for bacon bowls. Doesn't sound incredibly nutritious to ne :/
But I'm also not entirely sure what a bacon bowl IS :/ I'm assuming a bowl made out of bacon, but I'd really like to hope thst wasn't a thing :(
Scientists have documented cases of patients using certain kinds of antibiotics and experienced side effects such as faggotry and sissiness.
The antibiotics are believed to be related to or produced by liberal pharmaceutical industries.
