Is it normal that i get physically ill at the mere concept of oral sex

First off... Let me get this out of the way. I'm 19, a virgin, and haven't had a girlfriend in person. I've dated a couple girls online (with Skyping and seeing their faces and had real reactions from them). I do have an older view on sex. I've always been a little more mature for my age and have never really felt like I belonged in this generation. Anywho... back on topic. I've always felt that sexual relationships should be between two people and only two people and that the only places a guys genitals should go is inside a girl's genitals. (Yes, I'm trying to keep this as clean as I can. I'd appreciate if your responses were clean as well.) And I don't have anything against homosexuals or anything. To each their own.

I've always found things like anal gross and never wanted to try it. Other then that, I haven't really had issues with it. I also feel like things like sex toys shouldn't be used either. Only things that should go inside a person are themselves and their partner. (Sorry if this seems like it's getting a little off topic.) The one thing that has always grossed me out and disgusted me more than anything else is oral sex. Just the concept and idea makes me shudder with disgust.

Now... the real issue... My girlfriend knows about my views on sex. She's quite a bit more open about that kind of stuff. We're both virgins. Anyways... One time while we were Skyping... she did the general gesture that indicates oral. As soon as I saw her doing that, I got physically sick to my stomach and dry heaved for around 5min. She started laughing cause she found it hilarious. (We both have a little bit of a sadistic humor.) I was honestly close to puking all over my computer. She does pout when I refuse to let her even do oral whenever we do dirty roleplays.

So... My question is... Is this reaction normal? And before anyone asks... No... I have never been sexually abused/assaulted in the past or anything of the sort. I USED to watch porn in middle school (pretty sure that's fairly normal, but I would skip any oral or anal cause I thought it was gross). I will admit that I hate my downstairs and that I think it's gross, but I don't have any issues with the idea of being inside of my girlfriend. I was raised by Christians but was an Atheist growing up and completely ignored them and developed my own beliefs and values as anyone should in order to be their own person. So... anyone's MATURE AND NON-CHILDISH comments will be appreciated. And sorry for such a long add-on to the question. I thought it might help get a little closer to the issue.

Old school but not unheard of. What makes you happy is what makes you happy.

I would not be with a guy who doesn't do oral sorry.

At least your attitudes are not affecting other people. You don't seem to want to fix them. Stay away from all women and you will not cause problems for anyone.

You sound like a really boring "lay" (using clean language for you). You should relax a bit about your puritanical outlook on sex. Nothing is wrong with enjoying oral or other activities and in this age hygiene is rarely an issue.

I wouldn't say it's normal (it's not the norm, I'm pretty sure it's not, otherwise 99% of straight porn movies wouldn't include blowjobs). I'm a gay man and I find anal sex quite dull and unappealling, I'm not really disgusted like you are with oral sex, I'm simply not interested - I always skip that part when I watch porn. So I kinda understand you. So if you can find a girl who can live without giving or receiving blowjobs, just be happy, it's not really an issue to be worried about - you're sexually unconventional, that's all. Be happy.

It's not just blowjobs that disgust me. Going down on a girl is something I find disgusting as well. And my girlfriend understands how I feel and is willing to go without trying it if I'm still completely against it when I visit her/move closer to her. There are a few other things that we're bumping heads on, but we're coming to compromises on those little by little. And I've simply stopped watching porn because I'm simply no longer interested in it and doing my best to be faithful to her.

I think the whole "hate my downstairs" situation needs a bit more probing. If you think it's so disgusting and I would imagine you'd be disgusted at the thought of someone putting it in their mouth.

I simply don't like my downstairs. There's really nothing more to it. I've always been a simple person. If I like something, I like it. If not, I don't. I have a hard time finding reasons for why I (dis)like something. Sorry if that doesn't really help.

p.s. Thanks for writing like an actual person and not how the majority of the world writes. That's one of my biggest urks. XD

        Much obliged.

But some things are worth investigating.

I said not normal not because you don't like oral sex, but that you get nauseated by the thought. Something up with that you should explore.

Your downstairs areas are used for pooping and peeing. Why would anyone want to stick that in their mouths? In my mind it horrible unsanitary.

Id say you have a bit of growing up to do! Nobody refers to their genitals as "downstairs" you have a dick, a cock, a prick, a penis, but not a downstairs!

Your girlfriend has a vagina, a pussy, a cunt or what ever else you want to call it and it tastes lovely...divine! Go down on her pussy and lick and suck it, it will be best thing you have ever discovered in your life!

It's fairly normal to be disgusted by your back door but I'm uncertain about the extent of your repulsion.

I'm not disgusted by my butt. It's my junk/dick that I'm disgusted by.

        "Junk"? "Downstairs"? "Disgusting"?

I think with those attitudes to your own body you're much more still under the influence of your christian upbringing then you realise and you need to stay a virgin until you sort this out, bc presumably female "junk downstairs" is also disgusting?

I don't find female genitals disgusting or anything. Just my own genitals. And I will admit that I do pull some of my values from Christianity, but not all of them.

Nobody finds their own genitals disgusting unless they've been taught to do so: how about unlearning that particular piece of bullshit and learning to love what you've got?

I was never taught that. Could also be a side effect of my childhood depression. I'm not entirely sure if I completely got past that or not.
