Is it normal that i get nervous before having sex with new people?

I'm male and 20 years old, I've had 3 girlfriends which I have been sexually active during and have had normal experiences. But I'm currently single and 'seeing' a girl my age, we're not going out with eachother but the last time we saw eachother was on a night out and we went back to hers. I don't know If it was the alcohol but I felt a bit nervous and could not get it up!! I know this is all in my head so advice would be great, Thanks!

    totally normal. if i were you, i'd stop worrying about it, although i have been through that before and know it sucks. it's only right you'd be nervous though, since i'm guessing you probably wanted to perform well, specially it being the first time you guys were smashing. nothing new there. also, the alcohol could of course have been an influence, don't go overboard on it. cheers.

    It's pretty fucking normal, and it happens. The goal is not to be in your head about what happened the next time you have sex- easier said than done. Sometimes when you have that problem once, it can cause anxiety and happen again. I think you should just chalk it up to drinking and make yourself comfortable. Unless she's insanely judgmental, she should understand, and it won't be as big of a deal as you're making it out to be.

    Stop having girlfriends. Commitment to one girl is a waste of time, especially in your teens, and at your age, through 30 at least.

    You can date has many girls as you want, have sex with all of them.

    And yes, alcohol can make getting an erection difficult.

    If you are nervous during sex you are likely to underperform, so just try to relax.

    It happens more than you would think. What you want to do in this case is, more foreplay, just wait for it to get up, it eventually will if you get comfortable enough with your girl.
