See I dont really understand some of the other comments, I really didnt read this as the guy trying to dominate or control his girlfriend, I read it as him making a reasonable request (he doesnt like her drinking and she is underage after all) and his girlfriend just ignoring it.
If she doesnt respect what you ask of her then dont get too emotionally attached.
And I dont wana rant here but if this was a girl saying she wants her boyfriend to stop and he was just ignoring it I bet most of the comments would be about how much of an asshole he is.
