Is it normal that i get loose bowel movement before i get my period?

Really. Like, every month, without fail, I get LBM before my period. It doesn't bother me but it's concerning that it keeps happening every single month without fail, y'know? It's not the best warning but it beats having cramps and stuff, I guess.

I think you should do some research on menstrual cycles: I don't understand your reference to the uterus expanding? The bowel issue you're describing is normal for some women, it's caused by hormonal changes and an increase in progesterone.

  • I mean sometimes I do but it’s not like that. More of the pressure causing me to maybe go a lil more than usual. But idk what would cause it to be loose if it’s connected to having your period. When its more runny it’s usually something to do with it passing through to fast. But fact it also can mess with my digestive system a little makes me feel it’s probably normal. Idk all the technical stuff on what happens to your body when periods happen but I def feel pressure from uterus expanding or whatever and feel that’s why I go more. So maybe something to do with that too like it somehow causing it to flow through to fast. That’s only thing I can think of. I’d rather deal with that than cramps even on the pill I have obnormal pains 😖
