Is it normal that i get emotional when i talk to my family?

When I talk to my friends and have an argument with them about something, I have a steady composure and do not even feel the need to cry. However, when I argue about something with either my mum or my dad, I feel tears well up almost instantly, even if it's something really trivial. Is this normal?

Especially if they hurt you or rag on you for nothing or something that wasn't your fault...then of course.

Normal it happens to me too but it's all simply because I love my family dearly. I hate having disagreements but of course their will always be but it all passes and everything goes back to normal.

Of course this is normal, your family is forever, i dont say friends are not, but its really like you HAVE to get along with your family so i think you dont want to hurt them in any way!

Damn it! I still loose it and start bawlin when my dad & I argue, and I'm 27!!! I think maybe I was used to gettin my way w/ my dad by cryin when I was younger.
Or dealin w/my dad is duch a hand/heartful, gettin him to give me my right to choose is always requires a fight!

You always cried in front of them when you were younger, so that's why you still cry.
