Is it normal that i get chest pains when i'm this young?

I'm 13 years old. A female. I was diagnosed with Costochondritis a few years ago and its been found that in fact, I do not have the condition. In January of last year, I was in P.E. playing tag. The boy who was "It" was chasing me and another player tripped me. I fell and "It" didn't stop. His feet stomped on my tailbone, mid back, left side (affecting my left ribs) and my brain stem. Knocking me out.
I was then told that I had Epilepsy because I kept twitching and my legs and arms would move slightly involunteerily.
I now go to a Chiropractor once a month and he helps a bit. I used to be a little eery on Chiros. From all the rumors that "they aren't real doctors." But I went to many, many hospitals. All of whom cost a lot and kept saying it was the previous condition that had been ruled out or Epilepsy. I've been told that my ribs are messed up but no more other than that.
Now, when I'm stressed, in an area/going into an area with high or low pressure or some other things, I get them and have to hold perfectly still.
Its a stabbing pain in my left ribs and sometimes ends up with a headache I've called "The Hammerhead." Its not one constant dull pain, rather, its a knocking on my brain over and over.

Any ideas on what this is?
Is this normal?

  • Has anyone else noticed that the docs seem to be dropping the ball lately?
I've been diagnosed with a disease that the docs can't seem to agree if it's real or not ( fibromyalgia )
    I'm in extreme pain constantly.
And I've noticed some of my friends and people i work with are having problems with docs playing around, or just plain guesstimating the cause of the problem ( doctor nick from the simpsons comes to mind)
    Anyways back to the subject.
I don't think this is normal at all go to as many docs as you can, if you actually have the time to burn. The one that seems the most trustworthy is worth the shot!
Chest pains ( even if it's related to the rib damage is not something you wanna play around with

  • Perhaps it's an anxiety attack? ALso, Have you tried steroid injections into your chest joints? They may help if it's costochondritis. Talk to ur doc :)
