I feel like this would be pretty normal I mean, I get if you were presented with the opportunity to get close to him that you would. It doesn't mean that you like the same gender necessarily but I think that you should talk to him about it. Maybe say
"Hey. So tonight let's get really high and try something a little different." With a smirk on your face. I think that'll get the point across pretty clearly.
Just remember though... Do not do anything tht he isn't comfortable with. Because the last thing you need is for him to cut you off.
