Is it normal that i get an extremely itchy butt?

Very occasionally my buttcrack will get so itchy that I am practically forced to itch it with extreme force for relief. It feels so good when finally scratching though.however once the sensation of an itch arrives the most I can last is a minute before I have to itch it.
