Is it normal that i get a rash when i shave down there?

When I shave my pubic hair, it's smooth down there until it starts to grow back, where I get red bumps and it looks really horrible, and I can't shave again for a while until the spots go. It's really embarrassing and I'm scared any boys will think i'm weird and gross. Is it normal?

    Razor-burn. I agree with Tisgranum. Use clippers. And razor-burn is perfectly normal. Any guy who will make fun of that is a complete douche.

    It's just irritation from clothing and sleeping while the hair's coming through.
    Nothing will solve this, other than hair removal. Start waxing or laser.

    Use a hair clipper. Shaving with a blade gives me red bumps to. The hair clipper or trimmer or whatever will not get you completely smooth but it's pretty neat still.

    I'm a guy and I use the hair clipper on pubes. But around my dick I use the blade cause I end up cutting myself with the clipper. I get no red bumps from the blade around the penis or on the balls. So, I use a mixture of blade and hair clipper. Maybe you can use that mixture if needed.
