Is it normal that i get a gut wrenching feeling when..?

Ok so when someone close to me starts crying, I get this intense gut wrenching feeling (especially if i cause them to be upset) and i get a sore tummy. Just curious if this is normal or not and does anyone else get this..?

It's guilt if you made them cry and you just feel awkward and sorry for them and it makes your stomach hurt if you didn't make them cry.
