Your mom was the one who looked like an ass in this situation, not you. And no, I wouldn't look down on you. If I were to use the bathroom after you hadn't flushed, I would simply think "Yuck", then I would flush, use the bathroom, and forget completely about it. Forgetting to flush does not reflect poorly on your character. Your mothers attitude, however, reflects that she is a bitch.

My advice is to avoid those people as much as possible.

I think I need to get new toilets in my house. I have gone way out of my way to fool the HOA into thinking I have the newer 1.6 gallon flush toilets. Instead I have held on to original full flush toilets. However, lately they are not flushing all the waste down the first time. So I will come home from work and see a lot of dark water at the bottom of the toilet because not everything went far enough down. I need to figure out if it is just a plumbing issue with slow drains, or if the toilets are not working correctly.

People forget all sorts of things sometimes.

My dad relative also once baboon-excremented me for not metal handling on the toilet porcelain. Several cousins heard and since that day I have been an awkward non-human. It’s normal, sometimes I forget too. My grandma was screaming saying who forgot to flush the toilet, and I couldn’t fess up. She’s probably going to tell my mother I just hope she doesn’t blame it on my sister :( I really do hate myself

It sounds as if you mother might have issues, I mean it`s normal to get annoyed at someone not flushing, but not to go nuts about it.

You forgot to flush the toilet, welcome to the rest of the world. Everyone forgets things from time to time. Your mom going ape shit on you is kinda harsh, but maybe she forgot to think it through before she went ape shit.

It is quite possible that you did in fact flush the toilet. Someone else could have gone after you and forgotten to have done so or this relative might have tried to put the blame on you when in fact they could be the one who didn't flush. There are a lot of possibilities here. If it is the latter, you have to ask yourself why this person would go through such lengths to humiliate you.
