Yeah it's normal, no one ever uses their middle name. I couldn't spell my middle name, at least not without thinking about it first, until I was around 15. No offence, but your family sound horrible to be honest. If your uncle ever calls you that again you should reply with something like "At least I'm not so fucking childish, insecure and pathetic that I'll have to bully a teenager when I'm a grown man".

On first reading that it sounds stupid but I feel it would actually kinda sting
