  • Typical American, don't even know your own language.

    murk·y
    ˈmərkē/Submit
    adjective

    (of liquid) dark and dirty; not clear.
    "the murky silt of a muddy pond"
    synonyms: dirty, muddy, cloudy, turbid, riled, roily
    "murky water"
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Can you SEE the words DARK and DIRTY....NOT CLEAR?
    Murky does not mean an Oil Slick...
    • I'm not American and I have no idea what makes you assume so. Anyways, I know very well what that word means, and there is NO WAY to get clear, soapy water murky with a bit of everyday's dirt on your body. I once bathed after being half covered in mud and that wasn't enough to make the water murky.
      • You should be American.
        So your clear soapy water was still clear...sure.
        • Thanks, I guess?
          Anyways, maybe you're just either very dirty or have a phobia/hygiene OCD.
          • No I am neither.
            It's just nasty to sit in a tub of dirty water with dead skin, body oils, germs, and other stuff. I suppose since you are so clean you don't even leave a dirty ring on you tub when you get out.
            • I rarely ever bathe, but no, I'm definitely not leaving a dirty ring...
