Is it normal that i find romance between childhood friends disturbing?

To me, whenever I see people talking about childhood friends falling in love, I feel a bit uncomfortable. To me, childhood friends are like family, so it almost feels like incest. To think of them kissing and making love almost feels like it's inbreeding...eww. Is this normal?

    Anyone who has real brothers and sisters knows that close friends will never be the same. Family is family. Everyone else is everyone else.

    I know people that have married that grew up together. It's kind of creepy to me. I find it even more weird when I find out two people from high school married each other who I have never once seen talk to each other since pre-school.
