So I keep a picture of my dream girl in a folder on my desktop and whenever I'm down,or feel as though I can't accomplish something I look at that picture and I feel that nothing is out of reach. is it normal ?
Back when I was suffering from severe anxiety and OCD as a young teen, I would spend all of my free time looking at pictures of my favorite fictional characters online. It was the one thing that would bring me even the slightest form of relief. I even printed out the pictures and kept them in a photo album to take with me when I went on vacation and knew I wouldn't have internet access. I think it's absolutely normal to feel inspired when you look at pictures of your favorite things. After all, familiarity breeds comfort, even if what you familiarize yourself with is just a picture.

I actually remember doing something similar when I was younger. I had a picture of some anime girl and kept reminding myself I could excel in anything. It's merely a motivational tool. Eventually I began to get creeped out with myself and deleted the picture but it did provide good motivation. I think you're normal though.
This is normal, all the way. I think I'm fat and I have a model on my dresser as well......someday.....
