Is it normal that i find it annoying when my friend talks too much?

I am a guy, I have a guy friend who I have known for at least 6 years and have been hanging out with for about 3. All of last year he would call me once a day and we would be on the phone for hours sometimes. He would do probably 95% of the talking and I would feel bad not listening, so I would mostly listen. If i had something to say i usually didn't have room to say it inbetween his BS. I found it extremely annoying and disrespectful. What do you think?

    I have that problem too. He thinks we're best friends so he always calls and messages me. And don't get me started when I don't reply within in a day. He is just so clingy. Fucking annoying.

    I dunno man, I'm with ya. I don't think it's u. First of all what kind of guy needs to talk for hours? Yeah that shit would be annoying! Never get anything done. And second, it just sounds to me like u don't want to be a dick 2 ur friend and tell him to shut up! I have a friend like that, all I do is just call him when I know I have to do somethin in like 20 min

    It hasn't bothered you enough because you been allowing him to do it. There's nothing wrong with cutting the conversation short if he's hogging it to himself. People who only talk about themselves are usually so self-absorbed, they have no idea how offensive their prattling can be. Tell him, if he's a good friend. It's fine to correct him, but just be nice about it.
