Surely you are not suggesting there's only one British accent? I find it interesting and enjoyable that there are so many regional accents still existing in Britain.
Not suggesting that at all. The accent changes every 20 miles in the UK, it's nuts!
I'm just saying, the vast majority of people from outside of the UK seem to be unable to percieve the difference between the stereotypical classy, tea-and-scones British accent and the stereotypical Bogan, more rounded Aussie one.
