I kinda feel weird for buying a puppy from a puppy mill after finding out how the dog gets treated is it normal for me to feel really bad for the dog and fear ppl will hate me for buying from a puppy mill?
You should not buy a dog from a puppy mill because there is no reason to buy a dog from a puppy mill. Go to the pound or the shelter and pick out a puppy that isn't ridden with disease and genetic abnormalities. Don't support puppy mills, come on.
Support your local pound or animal shelter :) Puppy Mills are horrific and sadly most people have no idea about them. Spread the word now that you know.
it's okay, you weren't aware before. but now you are, so you won't make this mistake again. spread the word on how horrible puppy mills are, spay and nueter your pets and all will be forgiven :-)
It is sad how they are treated and everyone feels bad for the dogs as individuals but by buying and "saving" one you are lining the pockets of the millers and ensuring the horrible fate of many other dogs. If people stop buying from them they will not continue to keep so many. Go to the pound, a rescue, or a responsible breeder! Line these people's pockets it will benefit the dogs. Feel sorry for the dog in your local shelter who is about to be gassed. Look it up! It is a horrible way to die. Not all shelters Put their dogs down with a shot.
I had no idea what a puppy mill was until you posted this. Even the name is disgusting. Puppy "mill"? But if you bought the dog there in good faith and you've given the dog a good life, I'm certainly not going to hate you. It's not your fault that you live in a country which commercialises the lives of animals to the detriment of those animals. The positive would be to take affirmative action and try to get these places shut down.
Try not to feel bad, though. It sounds like you didn't know what was going on before you made your decision so you're not supporting these places with your conscience.
i have two dogs both came from a puppy mill both were abanded and we took them in and we love both with all our hearts but it is a terrible way for there mother
one is a morkie and the other is shz zoo (spelling)
Thats totally normal, my advice, go to the pound or a breeder. I prefer the pound because I'll help the people who work there and the animals also. But if youre really looking for a nice behaving, pretty princess pure bred, go to a breeder ;)
