  • I've read up, and as it turns out, estrogen doesn't make you girly unless your testosterone is low enough, so in no way can bpa turn you gay. (No, i'm not feeling gay, it just rhymed.) Also hormones and state of mind aren't really that directly related.
So no thanks. I won't be throwing out all my cups.

    • It does. Make you more girly.

Never said it turns you gay.

        • What are you seeing that I'm not seeing?

What you said seemed pretty straight forward to me.

          • Then why'd you repeat what you said exactly one sentence before?

              • Fine, i'll say it differently:
IF BPA is equivalent to estrogen in the human body, which it's not (it's only similar enough to function as estrogen would occasionally), and estrogen only has feminizing qualities(physical or otherwise) when testosterone levels are low enough, which in my case they aren't, then BPA would have no noticeable effect as estrogen would have no effect. In other words, it wouldn't make me feel girly at all.
(I refereed to girly as "gay" because it rhymed and sort of meant the same thing.)
Hormones have little to do with state of mind, and any changes that would significant enough to be noticeable would have to last longer than a few minutes, and if the hormone levels are responsible the feeling itself would last longer than a few minutes or occur far more often.
Because of these reasons, I find it misguided to blame BPA for this feeling. Due to the incongruity with the notion i have no reason to throw out any of my cups and dishes. They're BPA free anyways.
