Is it normal that i feel pain whenever i have an intrusive thought?

Hello. Due to my OCD, I have very often intrusive thoughts, especially about health. But when I get one, a part of my body, usually associated with the thought, starts hurting.
Example: "I must have a cavity! I have to...." -> a random tooth starts hurting.

    Yes. I think it's my social anxiety but often when going somewhere, if i'm travelling even just a short distance, I start getting thoughts like "what if I get sick" etc. and anxious because tickets are already booked or because I can't cancel because it's important and then I actually do get sick but usually only temporarily. I'm the same before a date also. I get sick to the stomach to the point where I even end up vomiting a bit sometimes, and feel very lightheaded, but as soon as i'm on my way or in case of a date as soon as the date has begun the symptoms quickly fade away since they're just from my mind. I get headaches when i'm stressed also, so when going somewhere I often end up worrying about ending up with terrible headache and of course that immadiately does give me a headache.

      I get that nausea thing too. When im nervous ill worry about it and then it happens. I feel like im gonna throw up and its miserable because you're trapped there in a nervous situation while about to puke. That there is the worse. I had to walk out randomly and puke at my wifes family reunion and they were like "wtf.."

      Btw one of the best medicines for the anxiety nausea is "vistiril". It takes away the nausea better than anything else when its brought on by anxiety
      Helps u eat too.

    I'm going through the same thing. I usually tense up until they pass though XD
    do you just let them happen or try hard to ignore them and distract yourself?
