Is it normal that i feel my mobile vibrate in pocket when its not?

Sometimes when I'm carrying my mobile phone in my pocket I will feel a vibration up against my leg as if a call or msg is coming through. I check my phone and find no missed call or message... It's really strange and I wonder what causes it? Do I have vibrating thigh syndrome or something?!? Anyone else experience this?

Is It Normal?

    Happens to me often, and each time I take my mobile out and see I have no message... I die a little inside... :(

      that's a good answer, thanks. It makes sense that the body would have some sort of physical memory, specially these days when we carry our phones everywhere with us.

    Sometimes this happens to me right before I get a message, so I'll take my phone out and then it'll vibrate.

    The only logical explanation is, I'm fucking psychic.

    happens to me and the worst bit is most the time i feel the vibration in the pocket my phone isnt in

    Normal. I get phantom pocket rings all the time. Really confusing when I feel a ring in a different pocket than I had put my phone in.

    This has happened to me, but it's usually not in my pocket when it happens. Sometimes, it's in my hand and other times it's on a hard surface.

    If you have an iPhone it could be that you have received a new email but it will not display an alert, it will just vibrate. I get ghost buzz all the time though, when I think my phones going off in my pocket
