Is it normal that i feel most gays were born gay

I just feel, why would anyone choose to be hated by millions of people or sin that bad. Why would someone enjoy loving their same gender if they originally were heterosexual but chose to be gay, that doesn't add up. Is it normal that I think that? And it is not depending on the environment, because most gay men you would not expect they would be gay, yet they do not hang around a lot of girls anyway, that's just stereotyping. Is it normal?

I do think people are born gay, straight, bi, asexual etc...but loving the same gender isn't sinful. No one can control who they love.

Funny ... I love to suck cock AND to eat pussy ... but I only find girls attractive ... and I could NEVER conceive of kissing a guy.

Guess I am sort of BI ... Mostly straight but still love cock sucking.

Also .. in the sixth grade my pal at school and I sucked each other ... and tried to fuck .. but our dicks were to little to reach to our assholes.

HOWEVER ... we spent HOURS devising ways to look up girls skirts ... and in a pinch ... even our own moms.

I still remember ... in the fifth grade .. on Sunday morning ... going in to the bedroom with mom and dad and seeing those
"pill box nipples" under her nighty. But I NEVER got to see her CUNT.

I'm bi and I didn't choose to be like this, if I had a choice I would be straight. However I do not think that I was born like this. I think that sexuality changes through experiences, the society and the person's views. For example all ancient greek men were bi. That didn't randomly occur through birth :D

I'm straight, but I have a plenty of friends and family members that are gay, and you could have called it from the time they were kids. My lesbian cousin was ALWAYS a tomboy and hated being girly, now she's butch. My flaming male cousin was into figure skating as a teen and has always had a flamboyant personality. Once someone debated with me that gays choose to be gay. But then I asked him (a straight male) why he was attracted to women and if one day he just decided that he would be attracted to them. He couldn't answer me because no one consciously chooses who they are attracted to.

I grew up with a friend who later came out as gay. In retrospect, it was clear from the age of about five. I'm only basing this on a sample of one that I have personally witnessed, but I believe it's as much part of you from birth as the colour of your skin.

People who want to "cure" homosexuality disturb me to a massive degree.

I mean, it can be a choice, but I do sort of disagree with the environment thing, strongly. Some of the most notable gays are the flamboyant ones, but they just have women hormones, some chose to be that way and most didn't. If some of it is the environment, it would be a very tiny percentage of homosexuals.

Most of it is genetic, though, like every second born in my family had a sexuality that was different on my moms side, and I am also an asexual second born, but I act as a regular boy would.

I think that there are homosexual people from both camps. Some are born gay, but others are that way due to enviroment or choices. But, your thoughts are normal.

Important note: it is not GENETIC but it is still BIOLOGICAL

There have been cases of identical twins (each with the same genes) where one twin is gay and the other isn't, even if they had the same environment growing up.

Researchers found that it's usually because one of the twins didn't produce enough testosterone while in the womb, so certain sex characteristics never fully developed (this is also why some, not all, homosexuals have less body hair and higher voices)

I agree with you 90% on that, but what explains that all 2nd-born childs on my moms side of the family have a different sexuality other than straight. Is it just a coincidence or is it genetic?

I don't know if it is always birth, but it is definately decided in the first few years of life if it is environmental. Scientifically, the jury is out on this issue.

However, no gay person wakes up one day and says "You know what? I'm gonna be gay from now on". It isn't choices, its environment and birth factors, neither of which we fully understand. But we do know that it is not just personal preference choices.

I feel that if I were straight my life would be much different. I have always known I was different. My uncle told me when I was very young that I was gay I didn't know what that meant, but he was right. My aunts and uncles had an I intervention with my mom when I was a teenager to tell her. No way I would choose this. Oddly enough the guys I am attracted to is even weirder. I am black that likes rednecks and racists. You can't tell me I choose this lifestyle. No way would I be attracted to a guy that calls me the " n "word during sex. I have been broken up with multiple times because my partners did not feel comfortable calling me that word during sex. Is hardwired whether good or bad, being a matter of opinion.

I think that kind of sounds miserable and sad to say its not in their control at all. I mean if nobody could control it then people would be miserable and love would suck. I think its not a choice who you are attracted to but its a choice who you act upon. I just think its something you just know and don't have to think about its just like your personality you just always acted that way and there is no explanation and if someone is shy versus outgoing it isn't necessarily a bad thing it's just different I think gays were created but we weren't supposed to care.

yeah, it's normal, homosexual men are born homosexual, it's because they had low levels of prenatal testosterone in most cases.

Not sure how lesbianism works, though

I don't know if people are born gay or if it's an environmental thing or if it's a combination of the two. I know that it is outside that persons control.

I wouldn't consider it a sin either (as an atheist I technically don't believe In sin) but I do get what you are saying. There is a lot of hate directed at gays by idiotic people and if it was really a choice, would anyone chose to be hated?

I'm not sure what you mean about the environment. I can tell you that I once worked in an abbatoir. A vet spotted a hormone injection site on a cow which, if eaten, was equivalent to eating 100 contraceptive pills! Hormones are used to build up muscle on animals but I often wonder about the pieces of meat that are in the system - maybe being eaten by pregnant women ??? Food for thought.

No, I don't mean environment, I was thinking environment wasn't what caused homosexuality, I was saying it was genetic or how people were born.

I think people don't make a conscious choice to be homosexual. That'd be stupid. No one likes to be hated, and that's exactly what they would face. I do believe someone can be born gay. I think factors in their environment can influence people also. However, I think bi is really a choice. I think its a decision where the person is looking for love anyplace they can find it and I don't believe they can be born that way. Maybe past experiences have pushed them towards it but I still believe its a choice for bi.

I am not sure if that is true. I have struggled for years with a sexual attraction of mine and never made any significant headway. Maybe other people have better self-improving skills or I didn't try hard enough, but I wonder.

IT is totally a choice despite what anyone thinks. You are not naturally born with it and things in the environment you live in can influence you into being homosexual.

This is actually not true. Scientists have found that when gays are born, their DNA is "hardwired" to love the same sex, just like many people are attracted to the opposite sex.

@Rhuarc, I respect your opinion, but it is just so ignorant and vile of you to think that! My aunt was around girls and had a normal life. She is gay and when everyone found out, she almost killed herself. She would have turned back to being heterosexual if she could, obviously. And she is not mannish that much and has a high voice. And, I did not choose to be asexual, I would do anything to be heterosexual! I swear to god with my hand on the Bible, that I never chose my sexuality. I am the creator of this page by the way.
