Is it normal that i feel like i'm losing myself

I thought I knew who I was...but lately I feel like I have forgotten who I am. I don't know what's causing this. I haven't been influenced by anyone or anything at all. Is this normal and How can I get to know myself better?

  • I can relate. I feel like I completely lost who I was at some point, and that now I'm nothing but a bunch of shallow actions and incomplete thoughts. I think you should try to focus on who you want to be instead of who you were. Try to remember what you were like before, and build from that.

  • I agree with nowimsureimsane. Spend time with your self. Get to know yourself a little bit more. Think about the things you like about yourself, or things you like to do that make you feel better.

  • Spends lots and lots of time by yourself.talk to yourself.watch everything you do.do things as if no one would ever find out.lay in bed alot.do alot of research about the ways of the human.if you have a phone with internet stay hold up in a dark room for hours on end and google everything that comes to mind.these things are just for starters but its where you can begin.
