Often times it's not God or anyone else that is to blame but rather ourselves who is the cause of ours woes. Not to point the proverbial finger but you seem to have a bit of a victim mentality. Whether or not people choose to believe in God said God gives us all free will. If we choose to do stupid things we will reap the consequences.
You can pray for what you want til your face turns blue and you pass out but if it's not what's best for you or if it interferes with the free will of another person your prayer will go unanswered. God is not Santa Claus.
