Never stolen from a store in my life, but whenever I walk past that cash desk, oh the guilt!!!! For me, I imagine it's a combination of paranoia (which runs a little in the family) and the fact that I'm currently 19. Someone at my age is almost "expected" to be stealing.
Tonberry's are a pain in the ass, they stand there with their little knife in hand and just walk side to side, forwards and backwards. WTF is the point of them, oh no you're going to take my HP down to 1 but give me all the time in the world to cast cure. WTF Tonberry.
In most Final Fantasy's, Tonberrys "knife" is an instant kill. Also, when you deal damage to him, he retaliates with "everyone's grudge" which deals damage based on the number of kills the target has made. Often, this means your better characters are killed in 1 hit.
Which Final Fantasy is it that he takes your health to 1?
I've been hit in 8 I think and it kept taking me to 1. They're so pointless in every game though, tons of hp, moves like a brick, no real reward. Tonberry's can eat my poo.
Though in 7, 8, 9, I swear they only ever do "everyone's grudge" on me and just badly hurt the player. I know they can do 9999 but I can't remember ever having it happen.
10 was ok, but boy has that series gone to shit. The PS1 had the good ones lol. 7 is the best.
