Is it normal that I feel guys make fun of me always?

  • Well, I've been in therapy, I quit because I couldn't afford it anymore and I returned to it about a week ago.

    Hope to get better

    • Well therapy is a great start :D!But don't forget to do some side work at the same time, like recognizing negative thought and etc!

      • oh that's a very useful advice, and yes, I'm also working on it, hard with anxoety but I think I can recognize them, I ask for help, at least, I used to get in depression very fast before, you are a really nice, kind person=)

            • Guess so but I have a hard time accepting compliments in general, I generaly do not accept them and somewhat doubt them, asking myself am I really like that? or is it just what others see in me that isn't there?

              • Yes, I've felt that too. I think it's because you haven't known yourself so well, so you doubt of everything people says. Maybe there's an external pattern blocking you to believe you don't have those good things, but you do, a lot I think, you have been very empathic and have given me good advices with kind words. It would be good if you found what that pattern is and start working on it. Have you thought about therapy? It helps, I've been on it some months.
