Sounds like you need to work on improving your self esteem. While some people can be cruel, it certainly can't be the case that every guy who is interested in you is making fun of you. I think if you increase your own view of your self-worth you will feel less surprised when others see it.

This is so true... When I feel like this I start generalizing everything, thinking the whole world is against me and I owe them obedience.
I'm working on my self esteem but this anxioety doesn't help so much.
