Is it normal that i feel empty even though i have a perfect life?

i have a near perfect life. i have a girlfriend, nothing ever really goes wrong, and i never get angry. every day i fake at least 4 hours of smiles to hide the fact that inside i feel empty and somewhat depressed. is that normal?

Is It Normal?

  • Everybody says I have a great life, but I don't think so, so maybe i have the same thing. I just feel like I'm not doing something forthe world, that I should invent something, of maybe even kill bad people.

    I guess it's normal.

  • This may be normal for a lot of people, but it's not healthy. You don't need to go on like this. You probably have dysthymia, a mild form of depression. It's treatable and seeing a psychiatrist could transform your life. Please get help--don't continue this facade forever!

  • Everything normal? Thats the problem! you dont want a normal life, you want something interesting to happen. Go someplace you've never been and dont do the same things every day. One day you should jump off of your roof into a trampoline with a friend and get chased be very mean dogs, also throw your tv out the window and if your girlfriend says something smart then scream at her and break up with her!
