When you go to bed you no longer have distractions so that's normal. I think most people would feel happier being more mindful and not distracting themselves with the internet and other things so much. You discover a lot about yourself and how you're really feeling when you have no distraction and once you know that you can deal with it and get better. That's why meditating is good.
