You sound like a nice guy who merely obeyed his father. However, you have to realize that times have changed and men can cry. I was actually like you for awhile until I met my best friend,David. He was actually a cry-baby in elementary school but he was a very good friend. Eventually, I abandoned my "men don't cry" mentality and told him about all my hardships. It felt good to just have someone listen and understand. Maybe you should tell your friends how you feel sometime. You might come to realize that it actually takes some courage to cry in front of others.
